Are You Ready To Slide To The Stars?


Controls:

Use the mouse to aim the StarShip.

Holding the left mouse button down will power the booster

The greater the distance from  the mouse, the harder the booster will   fire

Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out.


Objectives:

Maintain a connection to base stations long enough for them to open.

Broken connections result in signal loss.

Successfully landing earns an extra life.




A mysterious final challenge awaits!

I just realized I never commented on this game during the GMTK jam! This was a fantastic entry. I think it's a really elegant solution to use the distance of the mouse from the ship to allow the player to adjust the power of the thrust. Between that, direction, and the time that the player chooses to hold the button down, you've done a really good job at making a relatively complex system super easy to use with literally just one button. Bravo.
